Chapter volunteers work with landowners and state and federal agencies throughout McLean County and the surrounding region to enhance and create year-around wildlife habitat - nesting, brood-rearing, and winter cover along with wildlife food sources. Whether it's planting trees for winter shelter, providing seed for wildlife food plots or establishing nesting and brood cover, we work to ensure wildlife and wildlife habitat for now and the coming generation.

Yet we're more than habitat: The Sakakawea Chapter is also focused on conservation education, especially working with young people.

Please continue to learn more about our history, projects, and programs, and how to get involved with "The Habitat Organization".
